| Southern Stars Dwarfs Robert & Kim Carter We are located in NC. Robert started out with 3 rabbits 1 year ago and we now have 80 holes and plan on adding about 25 more. Robert and I feel that 100 to 125 holes is all we want to handle. That will give us time to concentrate on Quality instead of Quantity. Our rabbitry is a 16x20 insulated building, the heat and cooling system we use is a motel unit donated to us from my Uncle Phil. It works great, has a digital thermostat set to keep the rabbits in a comfortable temperature, no matter what the weather is like outside. Robert installed a huge exhaust fan to keep fresh air circulating. We use stack cages from Pointer Hill, w/ Dura-Trays. Robert custom builds and welds the frames for the cages to sit in. We stack them 3 high. The cleaned from top to bottom also. Every quarter the cages are disassembled and power washed. Our rabbits receive fresh food and water daily, they are dewormed every 30 days and nails are clipped.
